Video Description
On the 10th of September of 2015 Super Mario Maker was released. It took the community less than a year to upload millions of Super Mario Maker levels that had been played several hundred million times. Super Mario Maker ended up becoming the seventh best selling game on the Wii U and single handedly launched a franchise that sold millions and millions of copies. The original Super Mario Maker just ended up being an incredibly interesting and vastly successful experimental game that spawned a huge community around it. And then Nintendo pulled the plug. As of today, all the great Super Mario Maker stages that the community had created over the years are inaccessible and the game is practically gone. A decade after its original release the original Super Mario Maker is pretty much no longer playable and the game that launched this wonderful franchise is already slowly becoming forgotten. In this video we are going to change that for once - we are going to take a look back at the original Super Mario Maker. We are going to discuss five specific aspects of the original game that are nowadays often overlooked, but that - at least in my humble opinion - are still very much relevant for the current franchise and especially its future. Five aspects that made the original Super Mario Maker so great and that I hope people do not forget about the game. ---------- / Patreon / Support content like this: patreon.com/ceave ----------- / Credits for the Music / -------Nintendo The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time OST - “Gerudo Valley” The Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask OST - “Calling The Four Giants”,”Mayor’s Meeting”, “Song of Healing” ------Holfix https://www.youtube.com/holfix HolFix - Beyond The Kingdom https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CiGpsBLBX8 ------Kevin MacLeod "Adventure Meme", “The Builder” Kevin MacLeod incompetech.com this song is Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
