झारखंड के खूंटी ज़िले में दो ऐसे गांव हैं जहां के लोग पानी की किल्लत से जूझ रहे हैं. इन गांवों में रहने वाले लोग पहाड़ों से रिसते हुए पानी को गड्ढों में इकट्ठा करते हैं और फिर इस्तेमाल करते हैं. वहीं सरकारी योजना का लाभ भी ये लोग नहीं उठा पा रहे क्योंकि जो जल मिनार बनी है उसमें पानी ही नहीं है. लेकिन प्रशासन का कहना है कि इलाके में ग्राउंड वॉटर नहीं है और रिचार्ज पर काम चल रहा है.
