A police officer pulled over a lone female driver and accused her of driving while holding a phone in her right hand. She laughed and immediately showed him that she didn't even HAVE a right hand — her arm ended in a stump at the elbow. Despite this, the case reportedly continued all the way to court before eventually being dismissed. The story leaves many people asking the same question: once the explanation was obvious, why wasn't common sense enough?
