Coyote joins John Gourley, lead singer of the Grammy-award winning band Portugal. The Man (Feel It Still, Live in the Moment, Purple Yellow Red and Blue), on a dangerous mission into the wilds of Alaska. But survival isn’t the only challenge—this journey is about something much bigger.
John’s daughter, Frances, suffers DHDDS, a rare genetic disorder that impacts brain development, motor skills, and speech. For families like John’s, every day is a fight for progress, hope, and the possibility of future treatment. There is currently no cure, and advancing research is the only path forward for kids like Frances.
To shine a light on this cause, Coyote and John attempt to survive 24 hours in Alaska’s unforgiving wilderness—an environment where storms roll in fast, food is scarce, and bears are never far away. What unfolds is one of the closest near-death experiences in Coyote’s entire career.
Please consider supporting Frances and other young kids with rare diseases.
