神戸市で起きた連続児童殺傷事件で、小学6年だった土師淳くんが殺害されて、24日で29年です。父親が事件への思いを語りました。
土師淳くんの父親 土師守さん（70）
「何年経とうが、家族の子どもに対する思いは変わらないと思いますし、30年、40年経っても一緒だと思います」
1997年5月、土師淳くん（当時11）が殺害され、その後、当時14歳だった少年が逮捕されました。
「犯罪被害は誰でも遭う可能性がある」と話す父の守さんは、被害者や遺族の権利のための活動に取り組んでいます。
社会復帰した加害男性からの手紙は、2017年を最後に届いていません。
守さんは「なぜ子どもの命が奪われなければいけなかったのか。納得する答えを伝えてほしい」と訴えました。
