74 pct of Filipinos want impeachment trial vs VP Sara: OCTA Research | DZMM TeleRadyo

Courtesy of DZMM TeleRadyo Nearly 3 out of 4 Filipinos are backing an impeachment trial against Vice President Sara Duterte, according to the April 20-24 survey of OCTA Research. The survey showed 74 percent voted yes to an impeachment trial, up from 69 percent in March 2026. Twenty-one percent, meanwhile, voted no to a trial while 4 percent said they do not know. Opposition to an impeachment trial is highest in Mindanao at 41 percent. Meanwhile, a separate March 24-31, 2026 survey by Social Weather Stations showed 54 percent are satisfied while 25 percent are dissatisfied with the performance of Vice-President Sara Duterte. The survey showed net satisfaction with Duterte rose in Mindanao and Metro Manila, but fell in the Visayas and Balance Luzon.
