What happens when the traditional definitions of love, duty, and family are no longer enough to save the people you care about? For veteran finance professor and corporate trainer Veena Anand, life demanded a complete rewrite of her personal blueprint. Behind a highly successful twenty-year career in academia lay a series of silent, turbulent battles—beginning with a painful pregnancy journey and the heartbreaking loss of a twin. But when tragedy threatened her family once more, Veena chose not to break. Instead, she chose to rise. She completely redefined what it meant to be a wife and a mother, ultimately stepping up as a living organ donor to save her family's life. In this deeply moving and triumphant talk, Veena bridges the gap between structured logic and raw human resilience. She shares how she navigated profound grief and physical vulnerability to emerge not just a survivor, but a winner. Her story is an unforgettable reminder that when life strips away your certainties, you have the power to reinvent your purpose, redefine your strength, and rise higher than ever before. She takes it up as a challenge to make difficult subjects easy. She uses her experience in teaching and corporate training in my curriculum delivery, by referring to real life examples and case studies.
