คืบหน้าการดำเนินคดี เหตุรถไฟพุ่งชนรถเมล์บนจุดตัดทางรถไฟถนนอโศก-ดินแดง จนเป็นเหตุทำให้มีผู้เสียชีวิต 8 ราย
ล่าสุด ทีมข่าวอาชญากรรม ช่อง 3 ได้รับข้อมูลจากตำรวจ สน.มักกะสัน ว่า จากที่มีกระแสข่าวว่าทางพนักงานสอบสวนได้แจ้งข้อกล่าวหากับพนักงานไม้กั้นทางรถไฟในข้อหา "กระทำการโดยประมาทเป็นเหตุให้ผู้อื่นถึงแก่ความตายและบาดเจ็บสาหัส" นั้น ยืนยันว่าเป็นกระแสข่าวที่คาดเคลื่อนและยังไม่เป็นความจริง
ซึ่งในส่วนของพนักงานไม้กั้นทางรถไฟ อยู่ในระหว่างการประสานเพื่อสอบปากคำอย่างละเอียด โดยเฉพาะประเด็นเรื่องของการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ว่าเป็นไปตามระเบียบแบบแผนของการรถไฟแห่งประเทศไทยหรือไม่ หากไม่ได้ปฏิบัติตามหรือกระทำการอย่างไม่ระมัดระวังตามหน้าที่ ก็จะมีความผิดในเรื่องของประมาทต่อไป
อย่างไรก็ตาม ขณะนี้ทางพนักงานสอบสวน ได้แจ้งข้อกล่าวหาพนักงานขับรถไฟในข้อหา "กระทำการโดยประมาทเป็นเหตุให้ผู้อื่นถึงแก่ความตายและบาดเจ็บสาหัส" ซึ่งถึงแม้ว่าพนักงานขับรถไฟยังพักรักษาตัวอยู่ที่โรงพยาบาล แต่อาการดีขึ้นจนพนักงานสอบสวนสามารถสอบปากคำได้ จึงได้ดำเนินการแจ้งข้อกล่าวหา
ส่วนข้อหาอื่น ๆ หากรวบรวมพยานหลักฐานและสอบปากคำในรายละเอียดอย่างอื่นเรียบร้อยแล้ว อาจจะมีการพิจารณาแจ้งข้อหาเพิ่มต่อไป
สำหรับละเอียดการให้ปากคำของพนักงานขับรถไฟ พนักงานสอบสวนได้บันทึกไว้ในสำนวนการสอบสวนให้ปากคำไว้เรียบร้อยแล้ว ซึ่งความชัดเจนต้องรอการชี้แจงอย่างเป็นทางการจากระดับผู้บังคับบัญชาอีกครั้ง ซึ่งนอกจากในส่วนของคดีแล้ว ตำรวจยังเน้นย้ำให้ความสำคัญในเรื่องของผู้เสียชีวิตและได้รับบาดเจ็บจากอุบัติเหตุครั้งนี้ด้วย
ขณะที่คนขับรถเมล์คันที่เกิดเหตุนั้น ขณะนี้ยังพักรักษาตัวอยู่ที่โรงพยาบาล ยังไม่อยู่ในภาวะที่สามารถให้ปากคำกับพนักงานสอบสวนได้ จึงยังไม่มีการพิจารณาแจ้งข้อกล่าวหาแต่อย่างใด
