I think note booking is actually really helpful though- most weird skits like this start with a doodle paired with a few bullet points. It's also nice to write down ideas that aren't completely together yet so you don't forget it later. Getting away from social media for a while can help your brain do a dopamine reset too so that you start to work with your own ideas a bit more- and come up with them more. And a muse is good too. Great if you have a little gremlin in your closet too- but otherwise you'll have to find something else to inspire and motivate you. Surround yourself with people who do similar creative work and go look at some artists or read some stuff by people you like.
