When Maya the horse lost her lifelong best friend Ashley, a unique llama-alpaca mix, her owner worried she would be left heartbroken and lonely. The two animals shared an incredible bond, rarely spending time apart. As Ashley's health declined, Maya stayed by her side until the very end.
