Video Description
For Elder Neil L. Andersen, one of the beauties of his call is being able to meet faithful Latter-day Saints around the world. During a recent visit to Mongolia with his wife, Kathy, they witnessed the goodness, faith, and influence of Jesus Christ on the Mongolian people. Families gathered in humble homes, teaching their children the gospel with devotion and love. As Elder Andersen testified to one family, “I know these scriptures are true. I know that Jesus Christ lives, and I know He loves you.” This faith is now being fortified by a historic milestone with the building of the Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia Temple. Nearly 30 years after Elder Neal A. Maxwell dedicated this land in 1993, Elder Andersen stood on Zaisan Hill and witnessed the fruit of Elder Maxwell’s blessing given thirty years prior. Elder Andersen proclaimed, “The Lord is now going to bring His house to Mongolia.” For decades, Mongolian Saints have traveled great distances, sometimes only once in a lifetime, to receive temple blessings. Soon, those blessings will be within reach. Elder Andersen promised, “The temple fortifies our faith in our Savior… This country of Mongolia will never be the same.” The Saints of Mongolia are faithful and strong. The temple will be a great blessing for them and will be a witness that God is hastening His work. SUBSCRIBE to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the latest videos.
