Video Description
Join me on The Road to Kendari, another adventurous journey in Indonesia. I continue my Sabang to Merauke, Solo travel motorcycle expedition, traversing from Toraja in South Sulawesi to Kendari, the capital of South East Sulawesi. This leg marks my entry into the 14th province of Indonesia, covering a daunting 765km stretch over 4 days. I'll be showing you the long days on the road, that this journey sometimes requires, to reach those exceptional destinations in Sulawesi. Encountering broken roads and battling through relentless rain and thunderstorms, typical of the ongoing rainy season, each day in Indonesia presents its own challenges and rewards. On day 1, amidst misty mountains and picturesque landscapes, I navigate a 300km stretch from Makale to Lake Matano in Surowako, battling heavy rains and thunderstorms as dusk sets in. Day 2 sees me exploring the enchanting Lake Matano, discovering hidden treasures around its shores and immersing myself in the life of the Matano village, a remote community of pepper farmers. Later, I venture towards the world's largest nickel mine in Sorowako. With over 200km ahead on day 3, I push through rugged terrain and mountainous paths, passing by pepper farms and engaging with local Indonesian farmers. Despite facing another bout of rain, I find solace in the warmth of hospitality, as I meet a subscriber during dinner in Lasusua, South East Sulawesi. The penultimate day proves to be a test of endurance as I journey nearly 300km from Lasusua to Kendari, encountering continuous rain from dawn till dusk. Despite the challenges, I cherish the memorable encounters with locals along the way. Join me on this exhilarating ride filled with challenges, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable moments of connection with the people and places of Sulawesi, Indonesia. ► MERCHANDISE Did you like my t-shirt and also want to support my journey? • Tokopedia: https://www.tokopedia.com/invictusbasic/etalase/invictus-x-kristian-hansen • Shopee: https://shopee.co.id/invictusbasic?shopCollection=247323479#product_list ► FOLLOW MY JOURNEY • Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thekristianhansen/ • Facebook: https://web.facebook.com/TheKristianHansen/ • YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/kristianhansen • Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thekristianhansen • Website/Blog: https://www.thekristianhansen.com/ ► HOW TO SUPPORT • Support as a Youtube member: https://rebrand.ly/90ar3p5 • Support the trip (from Indonesia): http://rb.gy/wz3dyz • Support the trip (Worldwide): https://paypal.me/KBHansen • The music from this video: https://www.epidemicsound.com/referral/2xtknu ► LIKED MY MUSIC?
