‘It’s a disgrace’: Angus Taylor grills Albanese government's 'arrogance'

Opposition Leader Angus Taylor has labelled the government’s decision not to take the CGT and negative gearing changes to an election a “disgrace”. “The arrogance of this government and this prime minister to not take this to an election, to not give it proper scrutiny, to not allow people to actually look at it, and to not explain to people how it’s all going to work. I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s a disgrace,” Mr Taylor said. The bill has formally been introduced to parliament, but an email sent to senators confirms it will be sent to the Economics Legislation Committee for inquiry, somewhat giving the Coalition what they wanted.
