Devotees gather inside Shri Jagannath Mandir during Rath Yatra celebrations to receive darshan of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra. The temple sanctum is richly decorated with purple cloth backdrops, traditional paintings, flower garlands, and ceremonial ornaments surrounding the deities. The idols are adorned with tall golden crowns, decorative jewellery, and fresh marigold garlands as priests and temple helpers conduct ritual ceremonies before the altar. One temple assistant holds a brightly coloured ceremonial fan known as an Alavatta or Chhatra during the ongoing worship rituals. Devotees bow before the shrine in reverence while religious chants and ceremonial activities continue inside the sanctum.
