KING Charles kept calm and carried on after nature called in Northern Ireland. A seagull pooped on the Charles's suit jacket as he left a food bank project in Newcastle, County Down, leaving an obvious white stain. A royal aide discreetly offered him his overcoat during a walkabout meeting local well-wishers. But he waved off the offer and told one local: "No, it’s fine. At least it didn't land on my head." Charles was at Newcastle Community Cinema, founded in 2008 by a group of local film enthusiasts which now sits at the heart of community life.
