Putin’s Oreshnik strike was his final ace card, he’s playing straight into Ukraine’s strategy

Vladimir Putin pummelled Kyiv and surrounding areas with hundreds of drones and missiles, killing four people and injuring dozens. Nato scrambled warplanes to defend against the deranged dictator as Russia launched its savage strike on Ukraine. Russia’s Oreshnik strike revealed growing desperation inside the Kremlin. Despite Putin presenting the $50 million missile as an unstoppable “super weapon,” the strike caused limited strategic damage and failed to shift momentum on the battlefield, according to Hamish de Bretton-Gordon. Volodymyr Zelensky accused ageing tyrant Putin of "madness" after the strikes pummelled the Kyiv and surrounding areas, killing four and injuring dozens. The Oreshnik is a ballistic missile with a huge range of several thousand kilometres that can carry nukes - it did not have a nuclear warhead attached when it was launched towards the Ukrainian capital yesterday. But the huge missile did unleash a fast-moving flurry of warheads on Bila Tserkva, a town 56 miles south of the Ukrainian capital.
