特徴的な頭の形をした姿が目撃されました。
18日、大分市のビーチに現れたアカシュモクザメ、通称「ハンマーヘッドシャーク」です。
田ノ浦ビーチの遊泳エリアにサメが出没したということで、砂浜には危険を知らせる看板が立てられていました。
サメが遊泳エリアで見つかったのは初めて。
海水浴はまだ解禁されていませんが、市は18日からマリンスポーツを禁止しています。
サメの映像を近くの水族館の職員に見てもらいました。

（体長は）80cmあるかないかぐらい。個体の大きさを見ると、今年生まれたのかな。
アカシュモクザメは、危害を加えなければ襲ってくる可能性は低いといいますが、注意点も。

子供でも鋭い歯をしているので、かまれると間違いなく病院に行くくらいの大けがをします。絶対に近づいて捕まえない。これだけは守ってほしい。
