M3 Amphibious Rig
Video Description
After crossing the Rhine as part of the large-scale exercise “Grand Crossing 2025”, the Weser was crossed on 1 July 2025 using the M3 Amphibious Rig. 👉 More videos from me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhd-JWffF7c&list=PLXCvRXgFNdKhDVf3KqE_riJLA3ub4I6DV Six amphibious bridging vehicles of the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr) quickly built a bridge at the ferry crossing in Großenwieden, while the British constructed a second crossing further upstream near Hamelin. Later, the Italian engineers, with their motorized floating bridge, enabled the second crossing of the Weser in Minden. Approximately 1,200 soldiers from four nations (Germany, Great Britain, Italy, and the Netherlands) participated in the exercise. Both the German and British Amphibious M3 vehicles belong to the German/British Pionierbrückenbataillon 130 and are stationed in Minden, Germany. The 360 hp amphibious vehicle has a 360-degree rotating jet propulsion system at the bow and stern. In ferry operation, a payload of up to 63.5 tons is possible. The maximum speed in the water is 14 km/h. ▬ *Suggested Videos* ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-Qc3hQH7r8&list=PLXCvRXgFNdKhDVf3KqE_riJLA3ub4I6DV 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhd-JWffF7c&list=PLXCvRXgFNdKhDVf3KqE_riJLA3ub4I6DV ▬ *About this Channel* ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ HD1080ide wants to entertain you with amazing technology-related documentary videos in the highest possible quality.
