Video Description
After finishing Echoes of Wisdom I came back to the game and attempted a challenge run. This video is about this challenge run. Except it kinda is not. You see, I attempted to beat Echos of Wisdom using nothing but a table, but I did not finish this attempt. And the reason why I ended up not finishing this challenge run, is because the game frustrated me to no end. But. The thing that frustrated me, is not specific to Echos of Wisdom but is something present in almost all modern Nintendo games. So this video is about two things. We will first retrace my steps through Echoes of Wisdom, equipped with nothing but a table. Halfway through the video we will take a sharp turn, abandon this very challenge and instead discuss why I decided to abandon the run, and what all of this has to do with a certain aspect of Nintendo’s modern design philosophy that I think is hurting their games. ---------- / Patreon / patreon.com/ceave ---------- / Links / Link to the second channel: https://www.youtube.com/@CeavePerspective Link to Switch Summit’s video about the fewest echos needed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y2zbofzJ3f4&t=1s&ab_channel=SwitchSummit ----------- / Credits for the Music / -------Nintendo The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time OST - Gerudo Valley The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time OST - Song Of Storms The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask OST - Inside the Clocktower The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask OST - Woods of Mystery The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask OST - Goron Race ------Holfix https://www.youtube.com/holfix HolFix - Beyond The Kingdom https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CiGpsBLBX8 ------Kevin MacLeod "Adventure Meme" Kevin MacLeod incompetech.com Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/
