Five months ago, we completed a 12-week cycle of conferences and documentaries exploring twelve domains of application of the Feldenkrais Method. Since then, I’ve been reflecting on how to bring it all together —a way to reflect the hundreds of hours of footage and all 40 interviews we conducted.
That reflection gave rise to this new documentary: a carefully curated overview that weaves together the 25 individual films we produced alongside the 12 conference sessions.
You might remember the six-minute animation we released in January. Many of our trainees told us they used it to promote their workshops or even to help secure teaching opportunities in schools. Our hope is that this new film can serve a similar purpose — a publicly accessible tool on YouTube that anyone can share to showcase both the richness of the method and its many concrete applications.
Although this documentary runs longer, we’ve added chapter markers on YouTube so viewers can easily navigate to specific segments. This means that if you’d like to highlight one application of the method, you can share the exact time-stamp with colleagues or friends — while still giving them a sense of the method’s remarkable breadth.
