TRIBUNJAKARTA.COM, KEBAYORAN BARU - Polda Metro Jaya angkat bicara soal banyaknya juru parkir (jukir) liar di sejumlah wilayah di Jakarta.
Kabid Humas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Budi Hermanto mengatakan, penanganan jukir liar membutuhkan kolaborasi lintas instansi terutama dengan Dinas Perhubungan (Dishub) dan Satpol PP.
Menurut Budi, dalam hal ini polisi berperan untuk memberikan pendampingan saat Satpol PP dan Dishub melakukan penertiban parkir liar.
Ia menjelaskan, pihak yang memiliki kewenangan melakukan penegakkan hukum terhadap jukir liar adalah Dishub dan Satpol PP karena berkaitan dengan regulasi pemerintah daerah.
Meski demikian, ia menyebut polisi tetap akan membantu apabila situasi di lapangan berkaitan dengan keamanan masyarakat.
