Video Description
An Alpine Accentor (Prunella collaris), a hardy mountain songbird found in the high-altitude regions of the Himalayas, including Uttarakhand. The bird displays a soft grey head, streaked grey-brown upperparts, and rich chestnut flanks marked with white streaking. Its fine pointed bill with a yellow base is well adapted for feeding on insects, seeds, and small invertebrates among rocky alpine terrain. Adult Alpine Accentors are also known for their pale throat patch decorated with dark scale-like markings. This species inhabits rocky slopes, alpine meadows, and barren mountain landscapes at elevations often above 3,000 meters. The footage documents the appearance and natural behavior of a specialized Himalayan high-altitude bird species. #AlpineAccentor #PrunellaCollaris #BirdsOfHimalaya #Uttarakhand #HimalayanBirds #MountainBirds #BirdPhotography #WildlifeIndia #NatureDocumentary #HighAltitudeWildlife Alpine Accentor, Prunella collaris, Himalayan mountain bird, Uttarakhand wildlife, high altitude birds India, Himalayan songbird, alpine bird species, birds of the Himalayas, mountain wildlife documentary, Indian Himalayan birds This footage is part of the broadcast stock footage archive of Wilderness Films India Ltd., the largest HD and 4K collection from South Asia.
