I Spent 3 Months Trying to Make Sense of the Super Mario Timeline.

A couple of months ago I was wondering whether Mario Wonder takes place before or after Mario 3D World and thus I quickly hopped onto google to quickly look it up. And to my astonishment … Nothing. There is no Super Mario timeline! Nintendo never publicly announced in which order the Super Mario games take place! And thus I decided to look into this matter myself, not knowing what I had just gotten myself into. Because I soon realized that there is much more to the lore of Super Mario than Nintendo has officially communicated. The past couple of months I’ve been studying hidden messages in seemingly unimportant cutscenes, I’ve done several close readings of all Mario instruction booklets and studied the history and family tree of the royal Koopa lineage. And what I uncovered blew me away. As a matter of fact the true story that Nintendo has been telling here all along isn’t a story about a plumber being friendzoned by a princess! True lore of the mushroom kingdom is a tragic tale of loss and betrayal, of love and of friendship, of heroism and of failure. So in this video we are going on a journey.
