Video Description
It’s time. After 8 years of daily use, our ToolMaster TM-26120G lathe is well overdue for some maintenance! This machine is one of the hardest working tools in the workshop, but it’s been showing signs that it needs some proper TLC. We go all in, cleaning it from end-to-end, adjusting the foot brake, replacing the coolant, and topping up every oiler. Kurtis also machines a brand new handle for the high-low lever that’s been giving him grief for a while. Both chucks also get pulled apart, cleaned and inspected. The 3-jaw is still in great shape… but the 4-jaw? That one has some serious problems. Stick around to see what we find inside and if you've ever wondered what it takes to keep a lathe like this running smoothly, this one’s for you!
