In a major legal development, the special Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) court in Hyderabad has issued summons to BRS Working President and former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) in connection with the Formula E race case. The court has taken cognisance of the chargesheet filed by the ACB, which alleges financial and procedural irregularities regarding the transfer of approximately ₹55 crore to a foreign firm for the 2023 Hyderabad E-Prix. Along with KTR, senior IAS officer Arvind Kumar and other officials have been directed to appear before the court on July 31, 2026.
