Video Description
Original video credit: IG/@joshualee.cox. A man shows a safer way to siphon fuel without using his mouth. Normally, people start a siphon by sucking on a hose, which can lead to swallowing gasoline or inhaling fumes. This method avoids that completely by using a plastic bottle and a hose. He inserts a tube into a tightly sealed hole in the bottle, squeezes the bottle to push the air out, then places the other end of the hose into the fuel tank. When he releases the bottle, it expands back to its normal shape, creating suction that pulls fuel up through the hose and into the bottle. Once the fuel passes the highest point of the hose and starts flowing downward, gravity keeps it moving on its own. After that, the bottle is no longer needed. The flow continues as long as the outlet is lower than the source. It is a simple, low-risk method that uses basic air pressure and gravity instead of direct contact with fuel.
