US-Iran deal 'far from finished' despite pending ceasefire deal

Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney weighs in on reports the US and Iran have reached an agreement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and extend a ceasefire by 60 days. “We’re close to a deal, we’re going to get a deal, we’re on the verge of a deal, the Straits are going to open … we’ve heard that a dozen times in the last several weeks,” Mr Mulvaney told Sky News host James Morrow. “Although it does feel like this is a little bit further down the road to a deal … I weigh that against the fact that there’s additional military operations overnight. “While I think we’re closer to getting a ceasefire, say a 60-day ceasefire, I think we’re far from finished here yet because we don’t know all the details.”
