Video Description
Former Republican Senate candidate Rik Mehta describes New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s plan to shift property ownership to the community as “socialist fantasy”. “He just gave an eviction notice to taxpayers. This is what happens when socialist fantasy meets a city that’s already overtaxed,” Mr Mehta told Sky News host James Morrow. “People who are being treated as villains are now leaving; they’re flying out to Florida, Texas, where they feel welcome. Not in a city where they are continuously villainised. “This is the socialist cycle: you vilify the productive, punish investment, shrink the tax base, raise taxes again, and blame capitalism.”
