輝達（NVIDIA）執行長黃仁勳日前返台時強調，在AI科技高速發展下，台灣需要更多電力來支撐經濟與產業成長，沒有能源就沒有AI與經濟發展。針對經濟部第一時間急發聲明澄清台灣「供電無虞」，並強調未來將有多部大型燃氣機組上線，黃士修對此嚴詞痛批政府刻意粉飾太平。黃士修指出，大幅增加燃氣發電不僅無法掩蓋近年頻繁的區域性跳電與空污問題，更曾因俄烏戰爭等國際衝突引發天然氣價格暴漲，導致台電與中油面臨實質破產，最終得靠兩、三千億的納稅錢才勉強續命。他更進一步強烈警告，過度依賴天然氣將嚴重犧牲台灣的國防安全，甚至連美國官方與智庫都已多次示警台灣動輒「斷氣」的脆弱性，呼籲民進黨政府不應為背後龐大利益，與老百姓及台海和平站在對立面。
