Until I came across an old orchard practice that completely changed the way I’m approaching this. It’s called tree paste—a mixture of compost, clay, minerals, and microbial life that you paint directly onto the bark. Instead of disrupting the ecosystem, it works with the tree—supporting its natural defenses and overall health.
