Ridging Beds and Sowing Endive / Chicory | 2x John Deere 6155R Trike Tractors | Loonbedrijf SvZ

Large-scale endive cultivation, also known as chicory. Ridging of chicory beds using three John Deere 6R of which two are equipped with GML nose wheel and self-build 6-row rotary hillers. We also see the sowing using three combinations on this 26 hectare field. Compared to a standard two-tracked tractor, a trike setup can distribute the weight of the tractor more evenly across a wider area. This can help to reduce soil compaction, especially on softer soils. That results in an even growth of the plants. Thanks for watching!
