Video Description
🇺🇸 Busiest Steakhouse in America: https://youtu.be/ixEO35xI1vM 👉 SUBSCRIBE for more: https://www.youtube.com/@MarkWiens Welcome to New Orleans, Louisiana, one of the greatest food destinations in the United States! Today we’re going to Castnet Seafood, one of the best seafood restaurants and seafood wholesalers in New Orleans - it's the source for the best seafood in the city! I arrived a little early and met up with Tom who showed me around Castnet, everything from the fresh oyster being shucked to the fish of the day. But definitely the highlight is the fresh crawfish, a food that’s seasonal and loved throughout Louisiana. First they have to sort and clean all the crawfish. Then they go into a boil, which is loaded with their own secret seasoning, lemons, onions, and celery. The crawfish need to boil, then they are soaked in the juice to absorb as much of it as possible. I tried their crawfish boil which was loaded with flavor and a good kick of spice. Then I had some shrimp, crabs, corn, gumbo, and a fried shrimp poboy. All the food was fantastic.
