If there is one thing that is everywhere in Super Mario Wonder, then it is coins. And wherever there are coins a question arises. The question of whether the game can happily be beaten without touching a coin or whether the game can only be beaten with coins and sadness. And thus I sat down and decided to finally settle this ancient riddle once and for all. And let me tell you … wow. Trying to beat Super Mario Wonder without ever touching any disgusting coins is something else. There are coins in the air and coins on the ground. Coins that jump out of nowhere and coins that magically manifest themselves right in front of us. There are coins that block pipes and pipes that spit coins towards us.
