Nine sites that can yield more than 4,700 private residential units launched under 2H2026 GLS

More than 4,700 private residential units are being offered under the Government Land Sales Programme (GLS) in the second half of 2026. Nine sites will be launched, bringing the total supply of private homes to more than 9,300 units for 2026. That's more than 50% higher than the annual average over the past decade. A mixed-use site at the up-and-coming Jurong Lake District will be launched for tender in July, after previous efforts to award one failed in 2024. A 1.49-hectare plot in Jurong East could also attract keen interest as it is the first executive condominium site to be launched in the area in nearly 30 years. Alexandra Anand reports.
