In her TEDxYouth@Wilmington talk, Saniya Cunningham discusses her experience with race and community as a young woman. Saniya Cunningham is a 10th grade student at Ursuline Academy who is passionate about using her voice to advocate for equity and inclusion, drawing from her own experiences. In school, she enjoys academic writing, history, and the fine arts, as these disciplines equip her with the tools to articulate her perspective and understand the context in which she lives as a member of an interdependent, global society. Driven to think critically and deepen her understanding, Saniya consistently seeks opportunities for growth. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
