Ex-soldiers who allegedly worked for ex-congressman Zaldy Co claimed to have delivered billions of pesos in kickbacks to the houses of several officials including ex-Speaker Martin Romualdez and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. One witness said they delivered an average of 60-70 suitcases [maleta] per week while under the employ of Zaldy Co, from 2022-2025. A small suitcase allegedly contained P20M-P25M, a medium suitcase allegedly contained P40M-P50M, while a large suitcase had P50M-70M.
