After exploring Phuket and Ao Nang, we drove to Ao Nam Mao Pier, parked (free at Railay Bay Resort!), and hopped on a longtail boat past giant limestone cliffs. The boat couldn’t reach the shore, so a tractor gave us a fun ride through the waves! At Railay Bay Resort, the staff welcomed us with cold drinks and stunning cliff views from our cozy room. Sunset at Railay West Beach was pure magic—gold, pink, and purple skies almost all to myself. Dinner was fresh seafood and cold beers with sea views and beach music. Next morning, I tried to hike to the Blue Lagoon (spoiler: it’s tough in flip-flops!), then found a secret empty beach just for me.
