I used to contour all the time when I fake tanned, but once I stopped tanning, contouring my fair skin looked muddy, orange or just… wrong ? So I slowly stopped using it and convinced myself I didn’t need it.
That didn't last too long, because contour is one of the most important steps for adding shape, dimension and structure to your makeup ? The problem wasn’t contouring itself. It was the products and the way I was using them!
In this video, I’m sharing the two small changes that completely transformed my full makeup routine ?
Since rethinking my technique and product choices, contour has become my favourite step. It pulls everything together and makes the whole look feel finished instead of flat.
While I do touch on fair skin and why certain products work better for me now, the techniques themselves can be used on any skin tone. It’s more about understanding undertones, placement and not forcing products that were never meant to work for you.
If contour has ever felt intimidating, unflattering, or just not worth the effort, I really hope this helps! Please let me know in the comments if it does ?
