Through out my past 12 years in the Philippines I have been very involved in helping and donating to flood victims, navigating flooded streets to speaking with locals, this journey gave me a deeper understanding of the realities people face during the rainy season. I also share personal insights on how communities are adapting and what I’ve learned through this experience.
Exactly one year ago, I made this video out of pure humanity. Every day, I could see the struggle of Filipinos passing by this road, so I dedicated my own time, money, and effort to temporarily fix 100 holes — because at that time, we weren’t allowed to do the real work.
Fast forward to today, and who would’ve thought that this vlog would take on a deeper meaning? What was once just a small act of care now connects to the bigger challenges we are all seeing today. This isn’t about pointing fingers — it’s about showing how even small efforts can matter when people are struggling. 💙
Whether you live in the Philippines or are just curious about life here, I hope this video brings awareness, perspective, and respect for the strength of those who live through this every year.
