Manuela Abreu shares how growing up as a top performer left her unprepared for the unpredictable nature of corporate life, where even excellence does not always lead to recognition. She explains how impostor syndrome and failure shaped her journey, eventually becoming a source of strength, preparation, and resilience. By embracing imperfection, learning through setbacks, and relying on mentors, Manuela shows how failure became her greatest engine for growth. Manuela Abreu has over 25 years of experience working with law firms, multinational companies and international businesses. She is a lawyer, a tax advisor and she founded her own advisory company, OnBoard Advisory, where she works with the largest asset managers, global investment funds and multinational companies. She loves mentoring young girls and is actively involved in education and cultural projects in Luxembourg.
