A Chinese YouTuber built a single custom console that runs PS5, Xbox, and Switch 2 hardware in one case without emulation. The project merged three systems into a matte white tower smaller than a PS5 by sharing one cooling architecture and one 1250W GaN power supply.
The key innovation was a triangular aluminum thermal core with each motherboard mounted to one face, while a single fan pushed heat upward using a chimney-style airflow design. Instead of treating each console as a separate enclosure problem, the build treated cooling and power as the real space constraints and solved them centrally.
The heatsink was fabricated at home using lost-wax casting, turning a 3D-printed form into a full aluminum engineering part. An Arduino-based switching system changed between consoles in about five seconds, and even the custom Switch dock was redesigned with a toaster-style ejection mechanism.
The result shows how compact modern motherboards, GaN power systems, DIY manufacturing, and thermal engineering can enable entirely new hardware form factors. It is a strong example of creator-led hardware innovation that blurs the line between modding, industrial design, and functional product engineering.
