Today, I want to show you one of the best Italian restaurant-style lasagna recipes.
In this video, I’m making an authentic Italian lasagna completely from scratch. Fresh pasta sheets made with Tipo 00 flour and semolina, a rich slow-cooked ragù made with beef and lamb, and a silky béchamel sauce come together to create a truly delicious and professional lasagna.
Ingredients
Fresh Pasta:• 700g Tipo 00 flour• 300g semolina flour• 10 eggs
Ragù:• 1kg beef top round• 500g lamb ribs• 1 large white onion• 1 carrot• 1 celery stalk• 3 tbsp tomato paste• 6 cooked and crushed tomatoes• 4 tbsp beef stock• 200g water• 1 sprig fresh rosemary• 3 sprigs fresh thyme• A splash of wine vinegar• Salt and black pepper
Béchamel:• 70g butter• 70g flour• 700g milk• Salt• Black pepper• Nutmeg
Bake at 200°C (392°F) for 30 minutes and let it rest for 15 minutes before serving.
