Israeli forces demolish Palestinian home in occupied East Jerusalem

Israeli forces demolished a Palestinian-owned two-story home and a commercial building in Jaba, north of occupied East Jerusalem, on Wednesday, June 3. According to the Jerusalem Governorate, the buildings housed two families of 13 people. The owner had reportedly paid a 10,000 shekel fine last week, but a demolition order was issued days later over claims the structures were built without permits. The buildings had stood for around 11 years before being torn down.
