The Trump administration proposed that tariffs of 10 per cent or more be imposed on products from dozens of countries, including Canada, following a probe into imported products that are allegedly made with forced labour. Released early Wednesday by the U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer, the report said forced labour “creates a dynamic where American workers are forced to compete globally on an unlevel playing field.” Mackenzie Gray has more.
