A one-in-60-million miracle of life. The quintuplets that attracted nationwide attention: four younger sisters were successfully discharged from the hospital, while their brother, who has a mild cold, will stay for another one or two days of observation.
On February 26, a 24-year-old mother from Xinjiang safely gave birth to quintuplets — one boy and four girls — at Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University. Currently, all five babies have met the required health standards.
On May 22, the four younger sisters were successfully discharged. Their brother, due to a mild cold, will remain in the hospital for observation for another day or two.
The family brought a whole roasted lamb, baked buns, and naan to thank the medical staff. They also held a celebration with roasted lamb in the evening.
