Research fraud: The epidemic we cannot isolate from | Albion Thaqi | TEDxRoyal Tunbridge Wells

Trust is a necessary part of our healthcare system - knowing that what doctors prescribe is the right treatment for each patient. However, over time, bad actors have begun to abuse the research system that doctors rely on. In this talk, Dr Albion Thaqi describes the epidemic of research fraud, and explains how we can all use the tools at our disposal to help us be more informed about the things we take to help us get better. Dr Albion Thaqi is a GP specialty trainee currently working in Kent, having qualified with a medical degree at Anglia Ruskin University in 2023. As a clinician, he is passionate about using evidence-based treatments to achieve the best possible health outcomes for the patients he cares for.
