视频说明
This is my first time in Ethiopia and today we’re in the capital Addis Ababa, a city of over 6 million people with a complex mixture of cultures stemming from over 80 tribes. Each with their own language, culture and cuisine. Today we’re going to be eating as much as can in 24 hours but actually today is a fasting day. Almost 250 days of the year are considered fasting days for the majority orthodox residents, but we’re in luck because fasting here only means no meat, dairy or eggs. We'll still be able to find lots to eat and for our first stop we’re seeing how the country’s staple dish, injera is made.
