But his dream for a better future starts crumbling when he catches his son sniffing solvent. He confronts the drug pushers responsible for his childs addiction, but they turn out to be henchmen of an influential cop. Angered by Dodongs actions, the policeman arrests and tortures him. Dodong is later freed, only to find out that his wife and son are murdered. The tragedy drives Dodong over the edge. He turns into a cop killer and soon, the press starts calling wangbu which means mad killer.
