Democrats scorched over embarrassing attempt to get ‘softball interview’ with Dave Portnoy

Manhattan Institute VP and Pollster Jesse Arm has blasted the Democrats after a political consultant working on behalf of Senate candidate in Maine Graham Platner reached out to Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy to collaborate. “This Democratic political consultant reaches out and pitches Portnoy on sitting down with Platner for a friendly chat, a softball interview that they can push out through their content channels,” he told Sky News Digital Presenter James Bolt. “It didn’t even cross a professional Democratic political consultant’s mind that perhaps a guy who’s firmly pro-police, a Jew who doesn’t hate the state of Israel, and a guy who is like proud to be wealthy might not want to sit down and do a friendly interview.”
