The average retail price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States dropped to 4.35 dollars on May 30 -- down 4 U.S. cents from May 29 and 17 U.S. cents from a week earlier -- but still 46 percent higher than the level before the U.S.-Israel war on Iran, according to the American Automobile Association.
